As most of the internet world knows, Ariana Grande released her new single, “7 Rings,” this past Friday. Prior to it’s release, people took to social media, beyond excited for the new release that Ariana continued to tease on her platforms. Ariana channels her “rapper” side in the new song, something a little bit different for her. She also spins off “My Favorite Things” from the classic musical, “The Sound of Music.” Grande is facing many accusations from multiple different artists, saying that she plagiarized their lyrics. For Ariana’s first attempt at rapping, this song wasn’t terrible, but I personally prefer her other music better. Also, with as much hype as this song got, I expected it to be better and more original. I attached the music video down below, so give it a watch. Let me know your opinions- was it worth the hype?
