This TBT goes to when I saw Catfish and the Bottlemen a little over 2 years ago. It was their tour for their second album “The Ride.” This concert was what I consider to be my first “real” concert. I had seen both Justin Bieber and One Direction prior, so it wasn’t actually my first concert, but the atmosphere was completely different and that drew me in immediately. I remember standing on the balcony of the 9:30 Club with my friends and fangirling, insisting that the lead singer Van McCann kept making eye contact with me. To this day, this concert replays in my mind. The band just announced a new album and tour this spring, but unfortunately they will not be performing anywhere near me. The next time I get to see them is undetermined, but I can’t wait until I have the opportunity!
